The Selene 45 is one of the Next Generation Selene Trawlers. She is the smallest model of the popular and proven Selene Pilothouse Trawler line. Designed and built like her sisters – including the oceangoing CE “A” certificate –she is a serious passagemaker, and a superlative coastwise and inland cruiser. The Selene 45 is the only Pilothouse trawler with a length over all below 15 meters which enables her to sail the big European rivers without any river-license.
The Selene 45 is an evolved version of the very popular Selene 43 model. It features the new “deep hull” design with its Cruiser Stern™, nearly 30 cm increase in engine room headroom to 1,60m, and the proven, standard Cummins QSB 5.9 230 hp. engine. This extra height allows for expansion of the fuel tanks – a total of 750 more liters! Yet, the tanks are a bit narrower yielding even more space in the engine room. All this is done without increasing the draft. LOA is ca. 15cm longer than the first generation Selene 43. On the interior, that translates to an 15cm increase in the salon.

The Selene 45 is standard delivered with CE-certificate “A” (Oceangoing), European electrical installations (220V AC) and optionally with European galley equipment.
