The Archer hull form is the point of the boat: it carries its beam high and far forward, which turns 12.7 metres into two private cabins, two heads and a saloon that does not feel like a compromise.
A single 230 hp John Deere on a shaft drive gives 8 knots cruising and 11 flat out, on 1,892 litres of fuel. Timber joinery, teak and holly flooring and full upholstery come as part of the boat rather than as an options list.
It is certified CE Category B — offshore rather than ocean — which is the honest limit of a boat this size, and plenty for the Adriatic, the Med and the coastal Atlantic.
Certified for offshore work in winds to Beaufort 8 and seas to four metres. Coastal and island passages rather than oceans.
Enough for real coastal and island passages at 8 kn, with the reserve that makes them comfortable rather than tight.
A GRP full-displacement hull at 16.3 t — it does not plane, it does not slam, and it turns fuel into distance at 8 kn.
1 × John Deere, 230 hp / 172 kW on shaft — one engine to service, one shaft to maintain, and the fuel figures that follow from it.
2 cabins · 4 berths, 2 heads and 1 shower. Guests aboard in their own cabin rather than everybody making do — which on a boat this size is the harder thing to achieve.
Sized for the passage rather than the weekend, and filled from the dock in one go.
