Who we are
This website is operated by Stal MAR d.o.o., Tbilisijska ulica 89, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia (VAT SI82923108, registration number 8995575000), trading as Selene Yachts Europe. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this site.
What we collect
We collect the information you choose to give us through our enquiry and newsletter forms: your name, email address, telephone number, country and the content of your message. We also collect basic technical data about your visit, such as browser type and pages viewed.
Why we use it
To answer your enquiry, to send you information about Selene yachts, events and services where you have asked for it, and to run and improve this website. We rely on your consent for marketing communications and on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries for everything else.
Who we share it with
We share enquiry details with the Selene shipyard and, where relevant, with service partners, only to the extent needed to answer you. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept for as long as the commercial relationship or interest is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, and you may object to processing or withdraw consent at any time. Write to info@selene-yachts.eu. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Slovenian Information Commissioner.
Cookies
This site uses only what is necessary to display pages correctly, plus web fonts loaded from Google Fonts. If analytics or marketing cookies are added later, this policy and a consent banner will be updated accordingly.
Embedded video and maps
Some articles embed a video published by Selene Yachts Americas on YouTube. These are loaded from youtube-nocookie.com, which does not set tracking cookies until you actually start playing the video; once you do, Google receives your IP address and player interactions under their privacy policy. If you never press play, nothing is set. The map on our contact page is OpenStreetMap, which sets no third-party cookies at all.
