Tour a Nearly Finished Selene 49 Classic Explorer

A shipyard tour of a nearly complete Selene 49 Classic Explorer, extended by two feet at the cockpit to 51 feet. Powered by a single John Deere 6068, it was bound for Greece.

In early December, Selene Americas President Wayne Goldman provided a comprehensive tour of this nearly completed 49 Classic Explorer at Selene’s recently expanded Jet-Tern Marine Shipyard.

This particular Selene 49 Classic Explorer is unique in that it has gone through a 2-foot extension of its cockpit, making it 51 feet in length (In the video, Wayne dubs the vessel a "49/51").

Blending classic exterior styling with all the latest technical innovations, this brand-new trawler is powered by a single John Deere 6068 engine. And while it will soon be shipped to Greece and cruised over to the Mediterranean, this is a trawler that can comfortably and safely cross oceans.
